Sorry, but “the magic man in the sky told me so” doesn’t let you off the hook for being a bigoted piece of shit. If its only god botherers that are running afoul of equality legislation then we need to look at why the religious are so full of hatred and bigotry and what help we can offer them to get over their short comings. We don’t repeal rape laws because some men find it hard not to be rapists or because some men are only a bit rapey so why should we change these laws because some people find it too hard not to be hateful bastards?
